Debo is the Managing Partner/Director of AKB Group, a group consisting of Akin-Adebowale & Co. Chartered Accountants, AKB Professional Consultancy and AKB Nominees Limited. He is a graduate of accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University with second class upper. He holds a master’s degree in business administration with specialization in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University (Formerly University of Ife).
He holds the honor of being a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and The Institute of Management Consultants (IMC). Debo is certified forensic expert, member of the Chartered Institute of Directors of Nigeria (CIOD), Business and Finance Professional and Associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), He is also member of the Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN).
Debo’s wealth of experience covers accounting, auditing, business recovery and liquidation, tax management etc. with proven success to the clients’ benefit and satisfaction. Besides his experience in financial/compliance audits, investigation, taxation, and strategic business planning, he has also undertaken numerous special assignments, including school audit and set up of accounts department, operations audits, bank audits, special investigations, corporate restructuring, due diligence, business plan and tax planning.
He is currently the firm’s quality control and review partner for all assignment.
